I only find a few new things with the update. - a new phone icon with blue tooth symbol - phone connects faster via bluethooth - appradio menu seems faster - CarMediaPlayer doesnt skip at the begining of songs anymore - appextensions still works - also appradio will ask you to unlock your phone if locked. thats about all i have noticed so far.

I dont find the radio quailty to be the best with app radio but the metra adapter did make the stations Stronger.

The blue wire needs to be connected to power.

I had some interesting things happen today with app radio. In the main window (radio /ipod /apps /phone). If im in ipod i get a pop up saying text message from without the message which is kewl and has been doing this since day one. But today while using the pioneer app radio app and running any app that would work with it. I was able to get a text message at the top of the screen with persons name and the whole message. I found this to be very handy.

I dont know if its just me but. After installing and using appradio extension I was not able to download any apps from the app store. I removed the appradio extension and I could download apps again. Anyone else have this problem.

Sorry for the stupid post. I didnt install the power wire for the antenna which was included with new metra antenna wiring harness.

I'm having the same problem with weak or no fm radio signal some times. The app radio is installed in a 2010 Nissan frontier. I emailed pioneer and this is what they had to say. Good Day, We do not have any reported issues with the reception on the App Radio, if possible try connecting a different antenna, alternatively Please take your unit with a valid bill of sale from a Canadian authorized dealer to any service center below for evaluation. Could the gps antenna interfere with the fm antenna?

Dejan I had the same prolem as you. The display out you are currently using doesn't work. You need to download a cydia file called TVOut2 Mirror TVOut the Repo is http://apt.thebigboss.org/repofiles/cydia/

Hey just found an updated Backgrounder for IOS5 (January 19 2012). Please note that it is a patched version of backgrounder for iOS5 and is a BETA. It says to Please use at your own risk. Im currently using the backgrounder version from insanelyi Repository. The Cydia Repo is http://repo.insanelyi.com Im using it on an Iphone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 and its seems to be working very well. I havent tested it with appradio yet.

djsri Its in cydia under the BigBoss Source. TVout2 Mirror TvOUT. I just tried it and works great but its only mirroring whats on your screen.
