  1. wow mine is doing the same thing. Just started about two weeks ago & has been intermittent as well. Sometimes i wonder just how good of a deal the D3 really is
  2. When i was designing the system i thought running the rears off the HU would provide a rear stage filler but as noted by you, when working properly the 300/2 drowns them out. The only added benefit was when my front cuts out, i still have some words Update on the Issue..... It has been way too hot & I have been way too lazy to run new speaker wire straight from the HU to the crossover to eliminate teh speaker side. No AC in the garage combined w/ 90+ North Carolina days have made working on the car impossible for me. I really dread taking apart most of the interior to troubleshoot
  3. Thanks for the response. I ran all new JL wiring, the crossovers are in the trunk. Just one tid bit of info, i blew one of the tweets so currently on one of the crossovers i have one of the tweets unhooked, is this a factor????
  4. My front components are playing intermitten & when i crank the system they cut out or when i play my system for a while. When the cut out, usually turning the volume down make the components come back on. Only the front channel cuts out, not the sub too. HU = D3 JL 300/2 running Diamond Hex audio components JL 500/1 running 12W6 HU running rear Diamond Hex series 6x9's Car = Lexus IS300 Optima Yellow top battery Just last week i was riding down the road & my front components just stop working, wasn't really pounding the speakers but they just cut out. For no reason, they come back on. Washing the car this weekend, speakers playing fine. All the sudden, fronts go out & stay out for a while (rears & sub stay on). Popped the trunk, looked at my amps & Got a green li
  6. Hey guys, first off other than some querky routing sometimes, I am extremely happy with unit, espeically considering the price (i have always said navigation doesn't always get you there the fastest, it just always get you there which is ultimately more important)! I really like having NAV again. The unit does two things that bug the sh!t out of me, hoping someone can assist: 1) Let's say you know a particular POI you want to go to, but have no clue of the city. For example, the other day i was really craving some Bo-jangles, i had no clue where i was meaning didn't know the city. I wi
  7. I was wondering the same thing, i am going to try the above mentioned post to see if that helps!
  8. Originally i was very discouraged when i read this post b/c i have the Razor from verizon. But don't give up hope guys b/c i found this website that shows how to flash your Razor w/ Alltel firmware which frees up all the Bluetooth options (i.e. the most important for us, OBEX). It was pretty risky though b/c if you screw up your phone firmware by flashing it, you are going to be buying a new phone. That wouldn't go over very well if you had to admit to Verizon you were trying to flash the firmware on your phone. From what those forums posted, they would probably terminate your contract &am
