  1. Everyone make sure to email Pioneer with these complaints and problems too so they are made aware and will fix it.
  2. That tasker profile isn't working for me, when I got to Input -> Dpad it says "sorry that action is unavailable on this device".
  3. I just like the official one because it attaches to the battery and I was able to hide everything very well and the cheap mhl that I bought before didn't keep my phone charged, it would drain.
  4. Nice, thanks for the info. I love the EVO LTE but the multitasking problem is really annoying me, it even causes problem with the appradio.
  5. Thank jhanson, I was debating on returning my EVO LTE because I wasn't sure if I could get the S3 working with my appradio 2 but you just sealed the deal, thanks! PS: How do you like it? What phone are you coming from?
  6. Actually cancel what I said. Just spoke with a samsung rep and he said it will work with screens of 800x600 resolution (appradio 2). Also you can buy an MHL adapter to fit the pioneer one here http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EPL-FU10BEGSTA
  7. Check out this video. Looks like S3 doesn't play well with displays under 1080p. http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-s3-hdmi-mhl-adapter-94063/
  8. Yes, double press the home button quickly to brig up the lower onscreen display and select MIX and you can choose radio and whatever you want.
  9. I have an EVO 3D and it powers my phone, it does not charge it but it also doesn't drain it.
  10. I'm sorry I have a HTC phone and it uses the MHL adapter and once I connect the bluetooth and the USB it connects to the appradio. I don't believe you need to change anything on the phone aside from launch the appradio app. You should call customer service if you keep having problems before taking it back.
  11. I just put in my second appradio 2 after returning the first one because I thought it was faulty but I am having the same issue with the second one. It keeps changing radio stations on me by itself, actually it keeps switching between FM1, FM2, and FM3 all by itself. This is the second unit that this has happened to me with. Happening with anyone else?
  12. When I first purchased mine I was using an mhl adapter from monoprice and a regular cigarette lighter and my battery would do the same thing, discharge quickly. Then I purchased the pioneer kit and my battery no longer drains, however, it doesn't charge either; so your kit may be faulty. If you want it to charge I recommend trying to find a rapid dc charger. (I have an EVO 3D)
  13. Thanks guys that did the trick. That had been bugging me forever!
  14. I didn't do the calibration thing, there was absolutely nothing in the manual about it!!!! I'm gonna try that today, fingers crossed As for the parking brake relay thing I was able to bypass that. My friend is a professional installer so he made it so that the radio thinks the parking brake is off when its actually on and vice versa. To make it short he reversed it so I do the steps opposite.
  15. Hi everybody this is my first post. I recently setup my appradio 2 with the android connection kit sold by pioneer but I am having trouble connecting it to my EVO 3D. The radio will not allow me to use the advanced app mode. I am only able to see a mirror of my phone screen on the appradio 2 screen. What am I doing wrong? I have everything hooked up correctly, the bluetooth is setup, and everything is correct but still no control. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it?
