  1. Yup. Drove my car a little more than 1/4 mile in reverse with no reverse wire connected. The avic tracked just fine. Of course its still going to track you, it thinks you are going forward. The arrow moved backwards. ...guess it is only for backup camera. meh. Now I just gotta wire up my VSS. I want my AVIC to learn when it's inacurrate
  2. I hooked it up..... No backup camera in my car, but when I back up the arrow moves backwards. Im assuming if you dont hook it up the GPS gets a little confused?
  3. Word. I just wish it wasnt so slow!
  4. Yea I asked for some, and got the ones you saw. Im rockin one in the DeVille right now. If any more pop up let me know!!
  5. wow..... And ive read of people on here with like 200 CD's on the damn thing. That must take some patience. Or a really looooooooooong roadtrip!! Anyway thanks for the reply mang.
  6. Whats the most efficient way to rip CD's onto the Z1's hard drive. It takes a long time for me doing 'auto mode' and while its recording it wont allow me to skip to the next track to listen, even if its finished recording that track. Is this the only way, or am I missing something obvious? ...at this rate it will take months to get 100+ CD's on there!!! Thanks!
  7. Damn good idea guys. The Regal GS looks sick!!!!! Amazing work dude!. The other SUV tho, not so hot IMO. It just looks too obvious. I mean, for one, the ford HU you have is from like 1992 and does not look right. Also, the edge overhang is a dead giveaway. Good effort but I think a little more will go a loooong way. (.02$)
  8. You could also just go to the reverse light bulb in the back. If your unsure which is the power, just use a test light and have someone get in the truck, apply brake and put in reverse. If the test light lights when reverse is selected, splice into that wire and your done.
  9. With the Z1, am I able to put a jpeg up for the loading screen??? I hate the boring pioneer loading screen!!
  10. Cingular Samsung SGH-D807 (slider phone) - Transfer Contacts: not functional, phone disconnects - Calling: partially functional. (see below) When recieving a call, the Z1 rings once then says 'disconnected' and the phone itself keeps ringing. Hit the answer key on the phone and now the bluetooth works fine. When making a call, the Z1 rings once then says 'disconnected' and the phone itself keeps ringing. When the person being called picks up, the bluetooth is now fully functional. HOWEVER you usually miss out on the first thing they say. (like, 'hello?') ..which can take so
  11. ok, I got it. Just created the 'pictures' folder.
  12. No, I didnt read the directions..lol. I just saw you need 100MB of dummy data, that was most likley my problem. Although this time I will make certain the folder is named, "pictures" and give it another shot. As far as root, or directory, I have no idea. I just highlighted my 'avic backrounds' pictures folder and added it to what was being burned to the CD
  13. I see.... my Z1 did not come with a remote, so Im assuming this is a universal Pioneer remote? A remote would be nice, Im lazy.
  14. what are you guys doing to do a quick mute on your Z1 for the music like when going through a drive thru window or something like that?? Best thing I have found is press and hold the AV button. But this takes a couple seconds, and shuts off whatever AV function your using. What is everyone else doing??
