any one kno of a place where i can get an am/fm antenna for the d3.... i got the stock adapter for my altima but the reception has always sucked... any suggestions?

The manual has the bypass in it??!!!...lol

is there any way to get some audio to play when the car is first turned on..... like "welcome" or something along those lines or am i getting ahead of myself?

a really easy way to have a bunch of videos on one dvd is using winavi video converter.... you can get it for free if you look hard enough or know who to ask...lol... but all you do is picj the files you want to convert to dvd in the order you want them to play then it converts and burns it.... thats it..... if you need help let me kno

yea if your blue/black wires arent properly inserted into the harness...(the black wire is the ground wire) it will make the unit restart right away but not intermittently.... basically if your ground wire isnt grounded properly or it isnt fitted into the harness correctly as soon as the unit starts up it will restart....

yea u def need to hook up the ill wire so u get that dimmed mode at night.... there should be one on the wire harness that is the same color... if it is an older model car running a wire from parking light switch would work too.... hope this helps....

whos mr. troll.... lol... n e way... i had the same problem when i did the bypass.... well its because i was dumb and didnt realize the pin wasnt seated right. turn the wire 180 degrees from when its not working make sure the pin goes all the way down (it should go down further now) so you cant see the metal from the tip on the the harness side.... and yes you can use multiple wires to one ground spot.... usually wut ever your using to ground the unit or what ever was there for your stock will work fine.... and must admit a good way to ground everything to one spot is by using wiretaps.... n

its a setting on your nav system that tracks where you have been.... notice the dots are on roads that you travel on the most.... but its nothing to worry about... i kno for the d3 you can set it to always track your movement.... and in the d2 it tracks most travel roads.... if you are seeing dots on non roads.. maybe its new construction that you have driven on but the map doesnt have the update.... i owned both the d2 and currently the d3.... but its def nothing to worry about..... great fro trying to learn new roads thoe...
