  1. Thanks. I figured that out. What I didn't figure out until just now is that Location Services needed to be on. Otherwise it won't let you pick a region and thus show compatible apps. All fixed now. Happy AppEx-ing
  2. Did any of you install the recent update to AppRadio 2.5.0? I installed it on my iPhone 4S / iOS 6.1.1. / latest AppEx. Since then I haven't been able see ANY of my standard AppRadio apps like CarMediaPlayer, Waze, EC Touch, etc... My "unsupported" apps are showing, YouTube, Google Chrome, Netflix. I've deleted and re-installed AppRadio 2.5.0 twice with the same result. After each install, I had to go into AppRadioExtension and turn ON each of those apps to "show." But they're not showing still. If I want to downgrade to AppRadio 2.4.0, how would I do that? Halp!
  3. You're right. Turned out not to be an issue with AppRadioExtension like you said. When I disconnected my battery and after restoring all my settings I missed "App Sound Mixing," which was set to "off"
  4. Mike, New issue with Beta17 that I haven't encountered in previous releases. My ability to switch audio sources while within AppRadio mode and within apps within AppRadio mode has been removed on my AVH-X5500BHS. iPhone 4S on 6.1.1 / AppRadio 2.3.0 Previous to Beta17 I could hit the "SRC" button to move between iPod audio, Digital Radio / AUX / Bluetooth / Disc. That button doesn't function any more within AppRadio mode but works as it should when I'm just at the radio screen. Also, I used to be able to start iPod audio before launching AppRadio mode and it would continue to play after
  5. Mike, Will this development allow me to, for instance, run Waze and Music on my iPod with the iPod locked / screen off and still control via touch on my Pioneer screen?
  6. When I plug in my JB iPhone 4 (wifi tether to iPhone 5 for its data connection) it starts playing my iPod through the unit. Before running AppRadio, I pick the playlist I want to hear or song / album shuffle and then I load AppRadio from the "Mode" button on my X5500BHS. It will pause the music briefly and then continue it once I get past a few "OK" and "ACCEPT / IGNORE" prompts. With the music playing I hit (in my case, the "Waze" button from within AppRadio. From there I can then control the volume and track advance / seek, back / rewind as well as source selection and mute.
  7. I hope this helps, but I recently just found out how to run any audio stream along with my navigation app of choice, Waze. 8. Mike, I really want to thank you for AppEx. Your dedication to the project when so many other developers would have given up. Your continued support of AppEx for those of us that use it is really remarkable. Thank you! I've been using AppEx since I installed my AVH-X5500BHS in February. Every beta has made functionality better on my iPhone 4 (used as iPod / AppRadio while tethered to my iPhone 5's data connection via WiFi). Here's an update for someone not on an AppRadio. My setup: AppEx 2.1.0_Beta8.deb from MikeDecaro.com/repo, iPhone 4 (6.1) running latest AppRadio 2.2.0 & AVH-X5
