Very excited, after updating to 3.0 the first mod I had to go looking for was your skin mod... it looks so much better then Pioneers boring stock ones. Look forward to seeing what you can do with 3.0!!!!

Go to Settings, AV Settings, and toggle AV 1 on and off back to Ipod. if this doesnt work Check the AV plugs make sure they are fully connected to the Ipod and to the back of your Avic.

This update makes things WAY faster and I mean WAY its too bad that they didnt just hold the units back a year and release it like this. I think that they will get a lot less complaints. Benefits 1. Its way faster 2. You can turn the beeps to a minimum (kind of like CHMS mod) 3. Try using the winceimages from your my flash disc back up copy or from 2.0. If you need a different copy of an older one let me know and I'll upload them

TJ do you have a US F700? What version Avic do you have, my thought is that maybe it might need a different copy of the SDMLC back up. The second file download in step 3 (3b) is only a back up for the 700UC model so I didnt tell everyone to download it, only if they need it. i didnt need it to fix my unit but put it up for other people just incase. Update on 5/21/13 just this top warning paragraph WARNING - this is a pretty specific fix. In the end it can basically fix almost any problem out there, BUT it should not be used if you really don't know what you are doing. If you are simply having a reboot issue and can hit menu after about 30 secs of blank screen and go to av settings and music plays, but when going to maps your unit crashes this doesn't need to be done. There are much easier solutions for you. You should look up reboot or constant restart problems or splash screen freeze ect. This solution is for a nearly bricked unit

there is a work around for this... basically from memory here is what I read you need to do. First enter service mode. (push and hold menu map eject and the reset button at the same time. when you hear a pop sound from your speakers let go of the eject button but continue to hold menu and map) this will bring you to a blue screen asking you to enter a code. push the nobb in this sequence and you will see * signs for each push. So let me start off with I have read a lot in the past few days and have actually accomplished more then I thought I could due to a lot of help from reading through the work that you all have already been done. My situation goes like this I bought a bricked used unit, I was under the impression that the unit could loud to the test mode and that was it, I was a little miss lead. It could load to the Service Mode and that was it. So with a ton of work throughout the last few couple of days this is what I have done. My Unit was basically bricked... any updates on this? Beta 4 is now out any luck with transfering contacts>? I find it crazy that we can now text info and that we can use BT music but cant transfer contacts
