    FYI going to 4.01 will not initially work for all. Many need to fix current then go.

    You have the easiest fixed problem. Need to know which firmware level you had on there. 2.0 or 3.0 then follow my reboot loop fix that's pinned up top. Files are also pointed to.

    The 4.0 isn't real it's a Hybrid. Go to hacks mods section to read more about it. Overall be happy there is that much. If you want to create your own compilation with maps feel free.

    Disconnect all inputs iPod, rear view, USB ect and try doing backup again

    Yeah. I'd check to see what files you have on there first, and reload appropriate level

    If you live on east cost of US you will be all set. If you live in west coast may need some PIOs. You can go into APL2 igo content PIOs and Map files and see what's in there. Yes you can copy 3.0 maps but would defeat purpous of update as its primarily maps.

    I'd disconnect and reconnect battery first that's about as reset as the unit can get without going into software.

    Try different SD card.

    It sounds like an installer issue and I don't know enough about a Saab to help you. Maybe go on Saab forums.

    What type of car? Did you go into audio settings. I'd put iPod in front dash input and try that. Also make sure setting for iPod is on iPod not off.

    Change the input setting. Just don't control it through aviv control through iPhone. Even better grab the airvideo app and stream your movies from home. Works fine on my 4s and 4 and retired 3GS I use as iPod.

    Does it let you load maps from the menu screen? Does it now reboot after 3 mins?

    So it's having alternator whine? Did they separate the running lines? Like RCAs and turnon up center of car while AMP hot up side? Ground real close to the amp (under 12 inches but also 20 inches apart from each other?
