I'm not that familiar with the f500bt but if it's an official firmware you uploaded purchased via pioneer you should call and ask why this oils happen. They should be able send you a proper update.

Did you have your unit modded at all? It sounds like you erased your former softmod. You probably can't enter location via gps anymore while in drive either.

You need testmode_v2.3 inside this need to copy and past folder labeled testmode to root of SD

It's a pain in the ass... You need to do 1 of two things have the contact info be exactly like avic format, or use a phone oil editter neither is easy or quick.

Just go to completed mods and add Daftia's mod. It will be everything you are lookin for as long as aviv is running 3.0 or higher firmware

Did you use my download? If you did you use the 3.0 wince files in service mode then copy and paste 3.0 backup into avic in testmode.

I don't think so... Over 200 dls no complaints. You need to copy folder from with in Testmode_v2.3 named testmode on root of SD card.

So you cannot turn the volume down while iPod is playing or the numbers decrease but the sound level stays high?

By an adapter cord so that it you can plug a thumb drive or USB cord from somewhere else (thread it to glove box or center consold). Yeah that should work for an SD card. Let me know how it goes. You have to remember at this point F series is old technology (2008ish was production for many units). Therefor may have struggles with new amazing cards ect.

Your best bet would be this... You need to find Aus Teleatlas or TomTom iGo R3 maps and plug them into hybrid 4.01 with a wince flash. I can explain how to do it if you can get the maps. A last resort would be to use testmode 2.3 go in make a copy of your unit and pull just the map data out and plug it in 4.01. This is a last resort as your files are partially corrupt and who knows where that corruption took place. Short answer yes you can use the base of another avic region, BUT you may lose local features (example = your Australian navi voices)

Do you know anyone else with an avic in Australia? Getting a back up off their avic isn't hard, but I have zero Aus files.

Does this happen on all audio sources?
