    So you have both connected? what cables did you use to get both devices working? Ive noticed that on my galaxy S4 i need to turn off and on the gps for it to catch most of the time. So all in all in terms of functionality the ipod will be better?

    LOL, how funny. For a guy that's been installing pioneer radios his whole life and knows a lot more than we know you would think he would at least know how to spell. Maybe you shouldn't have spent $800 dollars on a HU, when my "Crappradio can do as much as yours and probably more.

    Just because pioneers customer service sucks doesn't mean the products sucks. I for one have been blessed to own an appradio and am probably speaking for many other forum members here. Yes they are not perfect but for 250 bucks i dont think you can find any other radio that does all of this. Plus you are probably not taking full advantage of the mirroring feature. Name another radio that can mirror your iphone or android with full touch support. I understand your frustration but dont come in here bashing pioneer, we are all here as appradio fans, if you want to bitch take it to the appradio fo

    Galaxy S4 + ARliberator VS iPhone 5 + ARextensions? I want to hear from people that have had experience with both setups. Which is better and what are the pros and cons? From looking at videos of a S3 and Arliberator it seems way faster and less buggy.

    Guys, dont forget that these updates are betas and still not the full version of appex. Mike is working with everyone and listening to suggestions on how to make it better but he is only one man so give him a break. There will be bugs and issues until then, lets all just be patient and give this man some support. He has done a great job so far so we will only see improvements with every release.

    That is exactly why I said this was just speculation. Also i wanted to find out what people thought about a new firmware and what they would want to expect. Not once did i ever make it seem like this was set in stone and that we should believe everything pioneer says. Read the thread before you start to talk. I have noticed in many other threads that you are quick to reply without reading the posts carefully.

    i would make sure you updated properly, when i first got my unit i messed up updating and had some weird issues. U need to install both files one at a time, did u do this?

    I dont think so, the lighning cable needs an HDMI for video and sound. It might work, but i dont think you will get full functionality

    Had the Appradio for almost a month now and was just wondering what apps or what functions do you guys commonly use? The 3 apps that have been in heavy use in my car are MYPV, WAZE and EC TOUCH. But honestly my favorite is MYPV, its so cool how I can setup a youtube music video playlist on my phone and access them on the appradio. The playlist will sync to the radio and allow u to play videos back to back like a mix. You can setup multiple playlists and the videos start to play right away as if they were stored on the device, no buffering crap. Its awesome!!! Waze is great because its a nav ap

    You can stay with the stock 30 pin and connect your lighting usb to that for power but you will still need the hdmi cable and the Lighting AV to give the iphone 5 full functionality

    i know its the same dam cable. I was suckered into purchasing this 60 dollar crap!! However if you read my thread about appradio firmware 9.0 i was told by a pioneer tech to keep the CD-1H202 installed because when the update comes out they will add some sort of function.     VBLUE42 the reason why people will concider doing this and the main reason why i would do this is to eliminate cables all together. With a wirleless setup i will put way less strain on my phone plus i will be able to control my car multimedia from outside of the car. I have noticed that my battery life is slowly diminishing due to the stress that the hmdi cable causes. My phone gets real hot when connected and due to that my battery is getting weaker. With an appletv i will eliminate that issue. So no more rapid battery drain or heating up of phone. I can stream effortlessly without adding as

    Bluetooth streaming would be awesome!!! I shoulda added that on my wishlist. I dont understand why this is not standard. My mercedes has BT streaming, I can listen to pandora, ipod and youtube without connecting the phone. I love how i can step out of the car, have the misic pause when it lost BT connection and then continue when i get back in the car. Hopefully Appradio add this in the update.

    From what i have read all you will need is the hdmi, the stock 30 pin cable you already have has a usb port to connect the iphone 5 lightning usb cable for power. That is unless pioneer is going to add more functionality to the CD-IH202 an the ihone 5. If not then the CD-IH202 its not needed. What strikes me as odd is that the both cables are the same then why is one needed and the other not needed?

    Yes with all latest updates on (iphone\appradio 2\appradio app) you will have full connectivity and functionality. That is until mike releases an app extention update to fully support touch.
