  1. I'm with you too, a bit late coming to the party, but the F-40bt, £1,300 ($2,000) and a 2,500 song limit, I was gutted after spending that....
  2. If you have an F40bt from a shop, then you can get the latest firmware from Pioneer themselves for free..
  3. Hi, I have an F-30bt (now updated to F40bt, but neither has effected the problem). When I eject an SD card, I press the OK button nothing happens, I have to use the tilt function to shut it, also tried the eject button nothing, end up having to use the tilt button. Occasionally when open it will restart, or I press the eject button, and it tries opening again (despite being in the open position), it sort of jams at the extreme and stops itself...it then closes fine.

Perhaps digging up this old thread, but found the same, seemed to crash an awful lot, thank goodness it saved the search or would have given up on it some time ago!
  5. Well no one seems to know this onehere, but just heard back from Pioneer, apparently there is a 2,500 file and 300 folder limit on this unit.
  6. Hi, I've got an EU F-30BT, and not all my music appears, I've got a 32GB memory card, but only half the music shows, it stops about N (A-Z) (....about 12GB worth, or 2,976 files). Is there a file or memory card limit in force? And if so was there a firmware upgrade, would ths be overcome by upgrading the firmware at all? I've had vehicles in the past where there has been a file or memory card limit, but can't believe a newish unit would have this issue. I have software vs 3.0000 if that helps. Willing to use the upgrade to vs 4.0000 if it resolves the issue. Edit: tried two diff
  7. Ha, thats the one I am now running (got it off you(?) on Alfa owner)
  8. I was wondering this, but found it's actually very simple, select location from map (touch a point on the map (i.e your present location)), then touch the quick access menu (the one in the right of the screen), then the icon of the pen on paper, that will save it as a favourite, you can also do it from within the favourite menu, by selecting from map.
