  1. Don't think there was an official update relased for 2018 according to the official Pioneer page.
  2. You can't, even on the f30/40. Best option is to pick up a cheap ipod. There is a file limit (1,500 songs I think) with a USB stick anyway.
  3. Perfect,. thanks! What a noob! the code was different in PRG0, but looked right in PRG1, so will look to copy that, and hope it works! Edit: Works perfectly, many thanks again!
  4. HI, bit confused, can't seem to be able to locate BEC64 in navi.exe in PRG1 or PRG0, am I missing something ( F-30bt) with 2015 maps. cheers
  5. try poiplaza, personally I googled free poi speed cameras...
  6. Hi All, believe it was http://www.poibase.com/ you have to register (free), but gives you a years update. cheers
  7. there is an official poi forum who will give you a years worth of free cameras, it's totally legit too, so I'd start there, that is who I used
  8. Hi all, thanks for the great work, can someone please pm me the password for the zip, thanks very much
  9. As above, it's not. Also note that on the F30/F930/F40 etc, the SD card has a 1,500 file/ song limit!! So if you have a decent amount of music on there you are limited. Just go on e-bay and purchase a 5th gen ipod (30gb for only £30), solves both problems! for a bargain amount
  10. Try xvid ( which the manual says is unsupported), only thing that got mine (f30bt) working
  11. Have you tried running it with your wife's iTunes account? How much music do you have on it also? I've got music sphere, but personally just use my own playlists. The music sphere seems a little over complicated way of picking a tune if you ask me.
  12. App mode seems all talk and no trousers to me. Maybe I missing something
  13. They are played in the order they were added, rather than numerical or alphabetical order. There is some freeware like drive sort that allows you to do this, more threads on the subject if you search for them
  14. I finally got my F30bt to play video (off SD card ), ignored the booklet and encoded with Xvid... go figure!
  15. I know, ridiculous, especially on a unit that was retailing at over £1k! Currently trying to a video, (any video) to play from SD, tried loads of setting, any tips ( F30bt) welcome Edit: Ignore the booklet, my plays XVid., not H264.
  16. Also try Xmedia Recode software, has inbuilt settings for the Avic series (F30bt, and F40bt, which I understand should be the same as the Z130bt and Z140bt),
  17. This topic was posted in the 'Z' section ( the American model, same hardware etc though), having the same issue http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/34825-z140bh-unable-to-play-moviesvideos-from-sd-or-usb/
  18. Yes, it's true, I discovered this also! Couple of options for you, use a cd with mp3 files on to boost the number, or use an ipod, for which the rule doesn't apply ( I got a second hand 5th gen classic40gb one on eBay for £40 ( US$60)). Has the advantage of displaying album art too ( bit of a faf to get them all on, but happy it's done), which is another oversight with the USB on the units. You'll also need the cable.
  19. Re: firmware, don't get too excited if you don't have an iPhone 5! Remarks: Firmware support for iPhone 5 and fifth generation iPod touch. iPhone 5 compatibility requires the purchase of Pioneer CD-IV202NAVI interface cable kit, Apple® Lightning to VGA Adapter, and Apple USB to Lightning cable (each sold separately). No need to install this update if you do not own an iPhone 5 or fifth generation iPod touch. The update does not contain any changes for customers with iPhone 4/4S, except for one setting which defines the device Settings --> AV Settings --> iPod Settings "VGA" for i
  20. I can't help, but appreciate your generosity to the cause!
  21. After the unit refused to eject a DVD I got a bit worried. Reading up, someone mentioned a power off reset ( ie battery disconnect) solved he issue immediately. Seems the unit thought the face plate was in a slightly different position and not fully open.
  22. Been playing around too, 159 specific, got someone t polish off my amateur version...
  23. Got this working on my F-30BT, first time (32gb card). One weird thing though, when it rebooted after installing, it didn't seem to offer me English!? DId I mis something? Anyway I picked french, then it gave me the option of English TTS, which I then selected. The unit rebooted in French, went into settings and chose English, Rebooted in English this time, and all good. Just a little strange! Also quick question on the radio update. I updated it with the official Pioneer Radio update to 8.06, do I now need to update to the F-40's 8.03? (I note it saved all my radio stations, so per
