Just as an fyi, my backup camera flickers in and out sometimes and I didn't know y. Because of the forum i know the answer but dont want to trade in to get a new unlockable version. My installer had a switch put in so that when i flip up full power to camera and when down it only comes on in reverse, rearview mode will show black screen. Well when my screen blacks out due to the Z1 i flip the switch down then back up and rearview mode come right back on again. dont know y it works but i have no problems anymore. The switch was originally installed so that when not using rearview mode my camera

Thanks, it seems all roads lead to Ducati boys circuit. I use remote start all the time and its a pain to turn the car off and back on again. I appreciate it

No problem, once I find someone who will put it in I will order one. In fact how much again and how to order? Based on my last post for why the remote start doesn't work. do you think your gadget will work if the parking lights come on and the z1 is off then started after i put the key in

Ducati, In order to install your device the radio has to be taken out right. Is there a way it can be done without. I had woodgrain installed around the z1 and since my authorized pioneer dealer wont install your gadget I have to have someone else do it. I must admit although the flash isn't that bad it is a nuisance.

The Crimestopper License plate camera is great. Great Angle, color, night vision is great. All you need is very minimal light and it shows very good. Best of all no drilling required.

So if I have the installer hook the z1 up to the ac power line then the radio would power on, is that correct. Thats what I want because the remote start flashed my lights within 5-8 seconds of me pressing the button w]hich would trigger the bypass. i would buy ducatiboys device if i could find someone who would hook it up. ive already had wood finish put around the radio and don't want it to be destroyed. the folks who put the z1 in was a pioneer authorized dealer and wouldn't intall it. But back to it all I have to do is hook ac line up to z1 and im good. I dont care about the screen coming

I have a crimestopper remote start/alarm on a 1999 acura 3.5 rl. When the car is remote started the car runs and the parking lights flash and stay on but the z1 is OFF. Once i insert the key in the ignition and turn right the z1 powers up and at that point i do the flash but it doesnt work. When reading the post the flash trick was found by someone with remote start so i would think his z1 turned on with it but mine does not. any thoughts as to y it doesn't come on until key is in then y doesn't flash work

Can anyone with a remote start tell me if when they remote start their vehicle if the z1 comes on too. Mine does not and then when I try to flash the headlights after inserting the key it doesn't work. I have to cut the car off and flash then it works fine. I know my timing isn't off when flashing cuz i never miss a beat normally. its like second nature. My z1 cuts on after i insert the key and turn all the way to the right. Can anyone help. Also how to I upload pictures

The crimestopper rear view camera works great in the day or night. It is full license plate with the camera hidden at the top. On my acura rl if I didn't tell you it was there you wouldn't see it. The picture quality is superb during the day and average at night. the only time its grainy is if its totally pitch black but even then i can still see. I recommend that one over any drilling or the pioneer. The map/rear view mode is great but yes it has to have a constant 12v going to it and when you go in reverse the z1 overides any picture on the screen and switches to the full rear view mode. loo

I am interested in the piece. I will purchase soon once I order my xm radio converter that way I can install all at once. You and the Z1 are the shid.
