  1. I would definately like to work on this. On the detail screen there is a vertical space that would perfectly hold buttons with the station number on them from top to bottom, just to the right of the detail pane. I will be trying to figure this out, just need to know where to look. Which RES files are you referring to and what do you use to open the RES files? Ceger
  2. I have XM, have the station logos in the flash directory (I suppose these are the standard setup), yet when I go to any station, it just shows the generic satellite image. I haven't done any mods to XM, so any idea why the station logos do not show? Category logos seem fine. I have the GEX-P920XM installed. Ceger
  3. You might try reinstalling the 2.0 update. Not sure. ee first Stickied post. If you do get it corrected, make sure to not do anything going forward without back ups for every time you change things. Ceger
  4. Copy back your original files you "should" have made a backup of before changing anything. At the very least, you should have a data-bak.zip on the unit you can use. You can also try oing to Nav Settings and try setting back to factory settings, but I think those only affect your settings made through those 4 interfaces. Ceger
  5. What I would like to point out here is that the "software" only bypass is not indeed a proper "software" only bypass if it requires a hardware modification from a normal install. Someone else shot me down when I was looking for some legitimate feedback. Ceger
  6. Ummm... your bypass is not correctly made. USE_SEPARATED_SAFETY_MODE works off of parking break signal. In the thread on mute/unmute nav voice, it was found that to have buttons activated even with setting the parking_break_speed value for the bypass from 16 to 128, you still needed to update the variable in the Pioneer.ini for USE_SEPARATED_SAFETY_MODE to be 0 for buttons to work or not. Thus any screen buttons coded specifically in the ui files with USE_SEPARATED_SAFETY_MODE = 1 maintain being unusable. I did the change as described here in this thread, and found that I needed to d
  7. Got it. This thread was very helpful. Thanks CatchMeIfYouCan631! http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18068&start=5 Ceger
  8. Is Mav's 12/10 data.zip file (on first page) based on 2.0 update? I looked through other pages and didn't note anything about it or if there was another data.zip. Thanks for the help in advance. Ceger
  9. I did the bypass and it works, but then realized it was just for video an not other items such as changing nav points and such while driving. I corrected this issue by simply updating all .ui files inthe 800 400 ui folder, replacing USE_SEPARATED_SAFETY_MODE=1 with USE_SEPARATED_SAFETY_MODE=0. It works beautifully, but the only thing I could not get unlocked while driving where the Nav and System setting icons. Any idea where those values are stored? Edit: While street and city can be entered, I cannot enter the address number while not in park as well. Any ideas here? Ceger
  10. I have looked around and have not been able to find any clear info for doing these data.zip based updates. I just got my unit and it has ver 2.0 already installed. Do I do the 2.0 firmware install with modified files or is there a way to leverage a partial data.zip with the testmode folder method. I am just not all too clear on what I would do. If someone can direct me to a post that runs through this (I went vigilantly through the FAQ threads and links) mute button process for an install on a system with 2.0 already installed, it would be appreciated. If I need to do the entire f
