  1. Thanks, I will have to look a little harder for the power & ground cables. I have all the IP-Bus cables for this install. Anybody know where I can find answers to two more questions: 1.) If I want to skip the bluetooth module and install a Parrot any idea as to the wiring diagram for that? I have a Z1 with headlight flasher and a 2002 porsche 911 with factory amp and the Z! works just fine so far (just getting started on the install and hooked the wires up last night to "test / confirm" I had all the wiring correct for the head unit). 2.) If I wanted to add the Porsche logo to
  2. I have a similar issue. Does each component (Sirius, Bluetooth & Ipod) have to be individually wired to power and ground? ....or does the daisy chain black/blue connector supply the power as well? If they all need power and ground, looks like I have left some wiring in my previous vehicle. I only have the power/ground wiring for the Sirius.
  3. I am considering buying a 2002 Corvette Convertable. Has anyone on this forum installed a Z1 in this car or does anyone know if it will fit? IF so what kind of fit and spacers will I need and what is a good source for them. Thanks for any help or direction.
  4. When I make or get a call using bluetooth the other party tells me they hear their voice as an echo. I have tried turning the speaker volume down to 3-4 bars, moving the sound comming from left to right to bothe speakers, and moving the microphone to several locations in the car. The echo is still there. Is there another trick someone has found or another microphone that will work better? Somewhere on this site I read an alternative mic caused damage to the head unit.
  5. The corporate stores will hand you the desk phone and dial the 800 number for you so don't waste a trip. I'm on my 4th 700W all fro different problems. Finally they sent me a "New" phone in the original box....not their remanufactured shit and so far this one works. If this does not work I'm going back to getting my email from my computer and getting a razor or something like that
  6. How did you solve the echo problem?????? I have tried several positions for the mic around the dash of my 06 Mustang GT and have the sound comming out of the drivers side door only. Any help would be appreciated. By the way....I am using a Palm Treo 700w (without the software update) and it has solved the disconnect issue after 3 minutes of talking. My previous treo 700w had the software upgrade and disconnected every time after 3 minutes.
  7. I got a Palm Treo700W to work.....here's how. I talked Verizon into replacing my 700w (with UPDATED software) with a 700W that did not have the update and it works. Does not transfer the phonebook but at lleast it does not drop calls anymore.
  8. I have a Palm 700w and it disconnects after about 3 minutes on each call. It DOES NOT, however, disconnect as I am driving around town....not using the phone.....ONLY when I make or get a call thatlasts over 3 minutes. Anyone else having this problem or know of a solution???
