When my phone is paired with my Z2 and someone calls me, the phone will ring and the call will be displayed on the Z2 screen. I do have a new phone but in the past when I had a Razr and someone would call me I would hear it ringing through my truck speakers. How do I get my new phone to ring through my truck speakers when someone calls me.

My girlfriend has a new Ford with Micorsoft Sync in it and after watching the video I've come to realize that this new series is based on Sync. I wonder if this has anything to do with MSN Direct.

What are you guys using to download music. I feel like I just came home from prison b/c its been so long since I've downloaded. I remember limewire being the sh!t but im not sure whats good out there now.

OK OK OK OKAY. You guys can ignore all of my previous post. I was able to diable the security code using the correct version (can we edit that sticky on this). I have it back up and running and it says version 03.000. Is this correct? What else can I check to verify it?

ok I realize why I couldnt remove the security code. I was using version 2.0 of the magic boot disk when I should of been using version 4.5. Im going to try the drive now but I dont think it will work. Im having trouble with the acronis step. If I can get that down pack I think I will be good. If anything has changed in those steps, someone please inform me. brb.

what DID you do? Did you unlock it? Reimage it? What? I know that I unlocked it. I could get the security removal to work so I ended up paying $10. I really need your help Im going to shoot you a pm really quick. Im going out of town in a few days and I realllu really need to get this working. Thanks

ok I have acronis going but I dont see 4 different partitions on my harddrive like the pdf has on the first page of this topic. All I have is a drive that says unallocated. What should I do

2 quick questions 1. Im using my original Z3 drive which is 30GB and Im going to take the $5 route. Can this be done on a 30gb drive. The reason Im asking is b/c I thought that the new Z3 comes with a 40gb drive 2. I have acronis open but im not sure which catergory to choose. I see (bakc up and restore) (Disk Utilities) (Try& Decide) and (management tools). Which one of these catergories do I choose and from there what should I do. Thanks

The very FIRST page of this thread... Which one of those links is just the maps. I thought that all of those links containted the whole image

So I can just update the maps on my Z2. On what page does it state the instructions for this.

I dont mind buying a new drive but Im going on vacation in about a week or so. I would love to just update the drive that I already have. Can this be done using the files that are up on the ftp server?

If I just update my existing Z2 drive to a Z3 I know I will lose data. I know I will lose my music and backgrounds, pics but what else? If I go this route your saying that all it will cost me is $5 for the unlock. I will like to proceed with this if this is what your saying. the $40 is just if you want to save the data... you already have the image, so who cares. So are you saying that his whole process is free. I would like to do the update but I didnt want to pay for a utility that would unlock my hard drive. I read the first page and the sticky like docs but I am a little confused. In 1,2,3 can you just tell me what the programs are. Thanks

wrong "soon" depends on your connection, right? 56K will take a lot longer than a cable modem I hope everyone know this, lol. I was just wondering what is the average time ppl have experienced using a cable modem or DSL? One other question. I need to unlock y drive and I took a look at the link above. I have the CD_SR1. Im not sure what type of range you will get on it from the outside of the truck but this is the one I use and it works well.
