  1. That really is it -- he was just off the right track before. Worked for me without a hitch.
  2. I used a JL Audio Stealthbox in my '07 SuperCrew -- very slick product, but a little pricey. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stea ... age_id=168 SuperCrewSound also makes one; never seen one in person, but it's a lot less expensive. http://www.supercrewsound.com/commerce/ ... 9&catId=58
  3. I just burn .mp3 files to a CD-R as data files, using the folder structure from my "My Music" folder. My Z2 plays them without any difficulty -- whether I burn them from a jukebox program (iTunes, Yahoo!Music, etc.), or Windows. It won't rip .mp3's to the hard drive -- but it should play them just fine off of a CD-R.
  4. Check the third post in this thread for an FX4 screen -- http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5819 Here's how it looks in use:
  5. While you're waiting, there are a few Mustang screens you can check out here: http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5819

Just go back to the album list view, then select the same button you use to change the name of individual songs. When you type in the name, it will ask you if you want to apply it to all the songs in the "playlist," which is that album.

  8. I got it by way of TMSBrad here: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5819
  9. I created another folder called "dummy" - you can call it whatever you want - and I filled it with data from a folder I had that had 107 Mb of .doc, .xls, and .pdf files. That was all per the owner's manual, and it worked fine in my Z2. I didn't try it without the "dummy" folder - but it went straight to the "pictures" folder, and displayed every .jpg I had there.
  10. This is a Z2 in my '07 - Your post is almost a month old, but I hope it helps -- and thanks to TMSBrad for the FX4 background!
