G'Day! Brand new here and have to say this place is awesome...........very glad I found a resource for my many questions and hopefully fixes to several annoying issues with my Pioneer unit, AVIC Z140BH. Bought a used Nissan Frontier that came with this unit installed. Great sound, happy with the bluetooth for my iPhone talk and music. Beyond that it has some serious drawbacks.........I have been rooting around reading a lot of posts making as much sense as possible but frankly coming up kind of short. The start/boot up time is way long, then you get all the annoying warnings you mu

I have the latest firmware, 5.1 and 2015 maps. I Decided to install my CD-IV202NAVI kit and as long as the module is powered up, i get a nag screen that says my parking brake sensor is connected wrong blah blah blah... If I disconnect the power to the module, it goes away and works like it always did. It's like the new module can see that I'm bypassing the parking brake sense wire. By the way, I'm using the mute wire to pin 1 of the white harness and grounding both the mute wire and parking wire like I was instructed to. (Net install instructions!). Worked for years. Also, it seems that my iP

I did the 5.1 firmware upgrade in my X930BT ( upgraded to X940BT in Mar 2014) I used the X940BT 5.1 firmware downloaded from the Pioneer website . 5.1 firmware update removed the USER/PRG.FLG file and put a new navi.exe in /USER/PRGO/APL After 15 hours of troubleshooting and reading threads in AVIC411 , I am able to implement the safe mode hack and nag screen by pass hack . Here are the steps .It worked for 5.1 firmware. I made the following changes in the navi.exe located in /USER/PRGO/APL 1) At offset 15ac48, change 02 00 56 E3 to 09 00 56 E3. 2)At offset 15ac34, 01 10 A0 E

Hi Everyone, I have been reading the forums for hours and have not found any clear directions to removing the nag screen from the AVIC-z120bt unit. I currently have the 3.001 software from this site (thank you). I am planning on upgrading to 5.0 (not 5.1) from this post. However, the instructions don't mention, but a user on a post here (I can't find it, I've read so much by now) said that we must use the cardinfo.cif file from the 2012 update in order to not brick the device! Is that true? Also, I would also like to integrate the nag screen removal hack from this post. The ins

Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but what's the easiest way to move the constant nag screen after booting on units with NAV? I have ARU and I have to hit OK 2-3 times before I can get to my phone's screen. TIA! Jon
