  1. Just installed the NEX 4200 in my truck and I am loving it. Installed a rear screen for my 2 year old son and the infrared works great for the DVD but when I switch to content on my USB drive, it will display fine but no audio is routed out of the rear audio port. I can hear sound fine through the speakers but if I try to listen to music, he can't hear any audio like when I'm playing a DVD. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help or understanding!
  2. After many months of using my SiriusXM radio on my 8100nex, all the sudden there is no audio at all. All other sources work fine EXCEPT SiriusXM. The display is showing all the songs/titles/artwork. Just NO sound at all. I have tried reseting/restoring the 8100nex, reflashing the latest firmware (1.03) and even cutting power to my car batter to reset. NOTHING has worked to get my sound back on SiriusXM. I heard other Pioneer HUs have had the same problem in the past and it was fixed with a firmware update with those models, but there is no newer firmware than the current 1.03.
  3. I'm just wondering if the F900BT can play a sound during start up somewhere near when the splash screen appears? how do I do that? thanks.
  4. Hello, I'm trying to install custom POIs on my AVIC-F930BT... I found POIs in <*.kml> format. I have following questions: 1) With NavGate Feeds, I could export them on a SD-card. But original <*.kml> file is split into several files (size 66K). Is it a way to avoid this automatic splitting ? I will try to merge them into a single file, and see if it works. 2) NavGate Feeds creates the following files structure on the SD-cards (exported POI name: POI): NDB CUSTOMPOI POI.kml POI(2).kml POI(3).kml CustomPOI.symb VersionManage AUTHENT
  5. My battery died and my friend hooked up the jumper cables backwards. After buying a new battery my amp fuse and 15. Amp fuse under the hood were blown and had to be replaced. Now all I hear from my iPod and CDs is bass only? The radio works fine but CDs and iPod all I hear is bass. Anyone have any suggestions? Are there other fuses? Please help. I will be so greatful. Thanks all!
  6. So, I have a question. I had purchased an HTC ONE, and was wondering how does the audio get to the AppRadio deck? Is it through Bluetooth, or is it through the HDMI cable? I mean music audio not call audio.
  7. Okay so I have a 2000 Mustang with stock speakers. (I put in the dashboard trim from an '04 so that I could use a 2 DIN stereo instead of a flip screen) Anyway, I just finished installing the stereo and everything works great except for the fact that I have zero sound. Can somebody please tell me what I should do? I've only installed a couple stereos before and all the wiring was fairly simple. I don't know where to go from here.
  8. I have tried several different iPods with the same result. I plug it in, using the correct iPod cable, and everything looks fine. I can see my music, navigate, etc. However, I get no sound. Everything worked fine until about a week ago. I have pulled the unit to make sure cables were fine. I've reset to factory settings. Radio and other functions work fine, but no sound from any ipod. Am I missing something? Thanks!
  9. I have been searching many forums trying to see if anyone else is having this problem with their 930bt. The issue that I am having is that the sound I get from connecting my iphone via the pioneer 51 cable is not as good as when I connect my iphone via bluetooth. It sounds much better when connected with bluetooth. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a remedy? Thanks to all that respond.
