Misterb
I'm trying to get a handle on what I'll need to add XM to my AVIC-D3, and what it will cost. I'm sure it has been discussed before, but prices change. What about installation? Is it a big deal? Thanks
MisFit
no biggie. you should be able to get unit and installation for under $
whtcrxghst
Make sure and get the GEXP10XMT if you want traffic features, as well as sports score and stock quotes. Get the GEXP920XM if you don't
Dane186
Best Buy would charge you 155 installed.
occb2
On Ebay I got a referb unit that came in a pioneer referb box for $75 bucks. It was with the nav. To install is very simple. (+) and (-) and a swtiched that said not to install. So That was it and run the antenna and that is it. Good luck.
jonster
Purchased and installed the GEXP920XM not realizing the traffic unit had both traffic and XM radio in it. (planned to upgrade later when my area was improved with traffic flow data). Is there simply a traffic module to add on, or do I have to bite the bullet and purchase the entire traffic/xm radio module, and scrap the P920? Thanks, Jon
numberone
No you'll have to buy traffic unit.
