eadsam
I've read alot of the posts about how to perform the bypass for the D3. However, it still doesn't make sense to me. I'm a girl that doesn't know alot about this kind of stuff as I tried to state in my other post before it was "locked." Is there anyone in the San Mateo area of California that would be willing to perform the bypass on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe?
HiFiSi
Try calling around to some local audio shops. But don't let them charge you for more than say, an hour of labor, because it shouldn't ever take more than that...
eadsam
Thanks for that advice. I will definitely try that. I also wouldn't mind finding someone here in the forum that might want to help me out as well.
whtcrxghst
If you pull the deck out, I'll do it. Don't really want to tear the dash apart of a car that I am not familiar with
tillithz
well, honestly, for maybe 45$, which is about how much a big box store will charge, i wouldnt do it for that, even if it does take not much more then an hour. I mean serously, if its so easy then the owner can do it. thats probably why many places going to charge like 200$ for the install. Not to mention if i where you id expect some sort of warranty... just keep in mind the old saying, you get what you pay for. might just want to do it with someone elses help or yourself
eadsam
I actually found a place in Redwood City that said they would do it for $75. I'm taking my car in tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed...
