Do you have an passenger airbag light on the dash that you disco'd? I do, and I got the Service Airbag during and after the install. Once I restarted the car it went away. Make sure all of your connections are good and then R&R the neg. cable and restart the car. Should clear the error. if not, you might have a problem.

I've got a 2006 impala.

For anyone reading this, this is not only with Nissans. It is common practice, when you disconnect an airbag switch because you're disassembling the dash, DO NOT cycle ignition. If you must, hold the dash piece up to the dash just enough to snap the airbag harness back into place. Proceed as needed.

Will it trip an airbag light in EVERY car? I am positive it will NOT. But I doubt anyone has every car that's safe memorized....

1. Put the key in the ignition.

2. Turn the key to "ON".

3. As soon as the airbag light (in the instrument cluster) turns off (after about 8 seconds), turn the ignition off.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for a total of 3 times, but don't remove the key from the ignition.

5. Turn the key to the on position - the airbag light blinks a code.

6. Turn the key off and then start the truck.
