ugadawgs311
I have a 2003 Tahoe, and I am trying to find a good place to put the antenna. I would prefer to keep it somewhere inside the vehicle if possible. Any ideas?
whtcrxghst
In the center or corners of the dash on the metal pad that it comes with
twostep
or under the dash itself
ugadawgs311
Can I tuck it away behind the unit beneath the dash?
whtcrxghst
Plenty of people on here have gotten crappy reception under the dash. Some cars it works fine, others it won't
twostep
I have mine under the dash, and its been fine. Make sure you either mount it on a metal surface, or use the provided metalic sheet and try finding a spot as high as possible and with as little obstruction above it as possible. Up to you tho. I figured it'd be a pain to run the wire up through the dash so i chose not to go that route.
32valvefox
velcro it on the top in middle of the dash.

BuffaloSS
What does the metal plate do? I didn't use mine and I still get 6-7 sats most of the time.
