i know i am asking the dumb question, but i will anyway.

 

1.if one dics is 700mb, and if i have the hard drive with is 30gb, then i can only record about 40 of those cd's worth of music, then what is the use of 400 albums ?

 

2. so i have to have in the audio cd form in order to record into the harddrive? mp3 format will not record into the harddrive? right

if that is so, i dont understand the 400 album when there is not much space, it can only have 40 cd's worth of music

1 - The AVIC compresses it into ATRAC, so it takes up less space than 700MB per disc.

2- Irrelevant as it relies on an incorrect assumption.

i have one album that is 2.5gb in mp3 forum, and if i do this in cd form, i know it will be lot of cd's

 

can i copy those all in under one title, because it is cd of bible which one tied up to the other, so i would like them to be in one title. if so, how can that be done, thanks

Yeah, same album name goes to the same folder... dunno which ATRAC it is, I'm guessing 3 noplus, but what does it matter?

it appears that they even have ATRAC advance lossless now,

 

Atrac 3 plus is lot less in size than Atrac 1
