yingjai Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 anyone know the steps to properly configure the sound settings on the d3? which setting should i tune first before the others and so on? i had my alpine properly set up, but can't seem to find a balance with the d3. HiFiSi Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 There really is no "proper configuration"... it's all up to speaker location, type of speakers, what car it is, and whether or not you're using external amplifiers, and most importantly personal preference. WhiteBird00 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 I think he's looking for the order of doing the settings rather than the actual settings to use. I've found that setting loudness on or off first, followed by the staging and position, and finally fine tune with the equalizer worked best for me. Other settings (such as subwoofer) really depend more on your equipment than on your listening preferences. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
