HiFiSi Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 1. The D3 doesn't store all the map data internally. The internal memory only holds one route in it's memory. You put the disk in, program in your route, and it saves it to the internal flash memory. Then you can pull out the nav disk and use the drive for whatever you want. Each time you need to use the nav you have to put the disk in and save the route. 2. Do a search on this site for screen protectors. There's a topic or two with links to where you can buy them.
