Lu Scola Posted May 14, 2008 Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 well If you have been reading my posts i was having a lil trouble getting my truck done, but I woke up early and got it done. I took out the B.S wiring harness GMOS-4. I used a different harness, then rewired/bypassed my bose amp. Made a custom bezel with black suade wrap around the D3 below. I put the new Pioneer componant door speakers and tweets in the front with a 4 channel Pioneer amp. I got the new Kicker 6.5 door subwoofers in with kicker tweeters in the back doors connected to a kicker 2 channel amp. My truck is loud , clear and great bass!!! Here are some pics. I am gonna do the leather trim on my door panels, sunvisors, and headliner done in matching black suade this week. Then I will get my seats inserts done in suade by someone else. Let me know what you think of the pics of my truck so far. I love it its a great look. I have two ipods hooked up. One on each unit. Also in the top pic u will see in the escalades the radio (Z) faces the driver more. Lu Scola Posted May 18, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 Here is the pics of the amps under the seats with Digital Distribution Blocks, a Digital 25 Farad Hybrid Compassitor, (2) Pioneer Componant Crossovers, Pioneer 600 Watt 4 Channel Amp, and a Kicker 2 Channel Amp. I am fiberglassing a bracket/Bezel that will go across the bottom of seats, and will be painted black or maybe use suade. You will not see any wires, all you will see is the 2 amps, dist. block, hybrid cap, crossovers, and 2 t.v's with there own dvd player, all mounted in the cut outs of the bracket. I may do a plexi glass center with mirror bottom with neons. It is gonna be very nice. I will post pics of it when I am done. I also moved the traction contol and park assist buttons to the ashtray and made a frame to put the factory clock on the dash. As you can see in the pics of the amps and other components I left plenty of wire tied up so it will have free space to be raised and moved to the bracket in positions I want them to rest in when finalizing the project. If anybody has any cool ideas or suggestions let me know. I want to make this a cool looking area in the back. Rims and Tires are only a little over a month old. I paid $3200 for them I just ordered a set of 26" wheels and tires. I will sell my wheels for $1400. The center caps are not pictured because I sent them out to get painted black. I can paint them any factory color of the truck for whoever buys them. PM me for info. I measured all the componants and made paper cut outs that are the exact size of each piece. I will cut each part of the frame out. then I will make the 4 sides and screw them on. Next goes on the fiberglass. Primer then paint it black. There will be neons underneth that will glow through a etched piece of plexi glass. I still need to figure out where I can make room for that. I am going to buy the top of the line F seies unit and place in my dash where the Z is now and have 3 Pioneer navigation units in the front of my truck. I will use the F as my main/master radio and have my Z and D3 used as inputs/AV1/AV2. I also have a digital video switcher unit that has cool controls that get built into whatever you want made by Accellevision. It has 4 inputs and 2 outputs. I will buy (4) 1/2 din DVD players w/ USB & SD card Slots, and hook them up to the switcher outputted into my D3's AV input and have a total of 7 dvd players in my truck. I can turn all the dvd players on and switch to a combo of 7 different DVD's. I will hook up my headrest monitors with wireless headsets so that any rear passenger can watch/listen to any movie of thier choice out of the 4 DVD players hooked up to the vid switcher. If I wanted to go insane I could hook up 8 more DVD players into the 4 dvd players linked to the switcher using the AV1 and AV2 inputs. That would be a total of 15 DVD players. It would be better than sattelite. I could have a dvd from every cattegory, sports, action, comedy and even PORNO!!!!! Gotta love a creative mind. could be dangerous.
