HiFiSi
Only the Chargers equipped with the factory nav system will have an opening tall enough for a double DIN unit... If you look at the mounting kit for that opening, http://retailer.installationexcellence.com/productfeatures.aspx?retailerid=1944&productid=2470&sid=0D5CBDFD-D41E-409E-88DC-D7B320842933&vehicleid=215306 you'll see that with the single DIN opening, there's only enough room left for a short pocket underneath. I think you would either have to find a trim panel from a charger that has the taller opening for the nav unit or you'll have to go with a custom trim panel... Here's the kit for the 06 Charger with factory the nav unit, which specifies it will work with a double DIN unit: http://retailer.installationexcellence.com/productfeatures.aspx?retailerid=1944&productid=8567&sid=0D5CBDFD-D41E-409E-88DC-D7B320842933&vehicleid=215306

HiFiSi
Like I said, you can pop out that silver trim panel and replace it with the one made for the Charger with factory nav and you will be able to use that second mounting kit and not have to do any custom work. I'm sure it's a less expensive (and easier) route depending on how much you can find that trim panel for.
