bwolfe
I am having a hard time finding an antenna splitter for splitting the signal between my deck and my HD radio add-on. Does anyone have any brand names or such to help in my search? It seems when I try to find "antenna splitters" on any audio website it returns a NONE FOUND. Thanks. PS: If anyone knows if Circuit City or Best Buy carries them, do you have the part number (they dont want to answer the phone in my town today)?

Slody4Futbol
you don't use a splitter for the HD add on.. i've installed a few... you don't use RADIO, just go to HD-RADIO and you pick up all your normal stations
HiFiSi
Yeah, the HD radio interface supplies the normal radio stations as well. So you don't need to plug the car's antenna into the head unit, just the HD radio add-on.
grgcombs
Correction, it seems ... MSN Direct only comes in via the head unit's FM antenna receptacle, not through the HD Radio module, so you do need a splitter if you intend to get traffic updates, movie times, gas prices, etc.

HiFiSi
Oops. Forgot about MSN. I guess I was thinking of how it worked on the D3.
