Raiden
Besides Maps, do you know if there is new stuff included?
SavageX25
So uh...not to be totally supportive...but who's ripping this sucker?
HiFiSi
NOBODY IS RIPPING IT AND NOBODY KNOWS WHAT EXACTLY WILL BE ON THE DISK BECAUSE IT DOESN'T EXIST YET.
mlarco52
lol what he ment pretty much was whos gonan be ripping it once it comes out considering were all willing to chip in to cover parts of the cost.....
Phlame217
I will gladly rip and burn/torrent if i can get some one who can either get them for free and send em my way or get help to cover the costs of the disks and blank DL dvds
Lu Scola
I will pitch in $40 bucks and 10 Blank DL discs. I suck at burning them, so I will need someone to do it for me. I can paypal immediatly when its ready. Is there a link to download/burn a new map update for the Z1 around. I will pay for that also.
HiFiSi
Awwww shit... I think I hear the FBI coming. EVERYBODY HIDE.
Phlame217
words on a forum, wont get you arrested, only wiretapped illegally by the new telecom bill! Now actions such as when they filter your mail will get you in trouble! But i will still say that if we can get money together (thanks Lula) and ill pitch in some too, we can get it out pretty fast. kmpoaquests
but will it be really worth it ? I mean do you think the directions it give will be significantly improved. I put in my house and I will end up going on the highway going in the opposite direction , when in reality i can just go straight for 2 blocks and bam home. The thing that burns me bad is I paid 550 for this thing. I KNOW its not tomtom but when I compare the 2 , I just end up bringing the tomtom along a long road trip cuz I don't trust the pioneer deck. srry for the tangent
Phlame217
revisions will be better, but nav is not its primary function its a secondary. If you want an all in one unit that does as well as the tom tom does, you're going to have to shell out alot more than 550.
Lu Scola
FBI...lol. Far from it. I need my sh*t updated. 40 bux is better than paying $250. I have a bunch of DL discs that I tried burning factory navigation discs with and I kept getting error so i gave up. Otherwise if I knew how Id pitch in 5-10 and download on my own. shoman94
The Pioneer website said that they would be available in July for the last 2 months.... I just now looked and they pushed it back to August..... I'm really etting sick of Pioneer!!
HiFiSi
Maybe they pushed back the date because they took all the guys working on the update disks to work on fixing the F-series...
superjet
Most likely. Even though I do not have a F series (yet), I am glad they are concentrating on bigger issues right now. One year updated maps for me is not that critical, patience people!
trol1374
Straight off pioneer site. Guess that answers the update firmware question.
