Kebo72
Is yours just on the ipod source too? It's so random, and inconsistent, it's hard to troubleshoot... Yes it's only on the ipod source and it sounds like my left speakers are cutting out and like they have a bad connection. Everything sounded great until I installed the update from pioneer. Did you install the update also?
HiFiSi
Did you install the update also? He made this topic more than 2 weeks before the update came out.
Kebo72
Well darn I was thinking it was the update. Mine didn't have these issues until I installed the update. Any suggestions on a fix?
HiFiSi
Well like I said before... the most likely cause is a bad ipod cable. To make sure, if you have any friends who have an ipod you could borrow it and see if you have the same problem with it.
Kebo72
I do have a cousin with an ipod and wil try it but the problems started when I installed the update.
bluesti
I do have a cousin with an ipod and wil try it but the problems started when I installed the update. It could have been coincidence... because I didn't have ANY issues for about 2 weeks, then all of the sudden, they started.....
Kebo72
OK I turned off soundcheck and turned off the EQ and everything is working fine but like I said before, everything with the ipod worked perfectly before I installed the update on mine. I'm thinking the update has it's own issues.
Troskey
yo...i thought i was going crazy...mine is doing the exact same thing...if i go to the balance screen and put it +5-6 towards the driver side...everything sounds normal...maybe there actually was something in the update that caused this? as far as i remember...the rest of the sources work just fine...i think it's just the IPOD...just to be sure...i'll try another source later on today...and if it's still faulty...i'll be taking it back over to guys i bought it from and seeing what they can do about another ipod cable or something... EVERY other av source is working fine except for the iPod source! it's still the only one that doesnt seem to play on every speaker at the same time in my truck...i tried contacting the place i got mine installed yesterday..but no luck... EDIT: i went to clean out my truck a little it...and i was going to turn off the sound check and eq like what was stated in the post earlier...but everything on the ipod seemed to play fine...granted i was only out there for a bout 10-15 minutes...but everything was playing normal...we'll see how long that lasts..or if it's miraculously back to normal!
