rdkl
I plugged in my new iPhone this weekend and found the video tab is enabled! Music plays in the right order and it charges the phone correctly (it also work on my z2 but it does not charge when plugged in to the z2)
cactor
Music plays in the right order No more alphabetical order? That's great news, I just installed the 2.0 firmware on my 8GB Touch so I'm hoping this fixes that issue.
rdkl
Well the iPhone never did the alphabetical, only my ipod did. I was more concerned the new firmware might cause it to start having the issue.
okieplaya
So you say the video tab is enabled does that mean the video does work ? with the new Iphone 3G ???
geo1378
Yes the 3g iphone works with my avic-f700bt very good. The bluetooth connects easily, the video works great and music works. Every once in a while i get a message saying voice recog. didnt activate correctly but 90% of the time that doesnt happen. and if i reconnect it that usually fixes the voice recog problem. I guess if you are watching a movie the movie stops playing ones the phone rings does audio from the phone call go over Bluetooth or the Iphone cable? Does the voice commands work as well say name and music list?
robsauter
any updates on how well the 3G works with the new firmware?
jdmeyes
The Ipod Touch 2.0 still won't work, btw. At least, I couldn't get it to work on mine.
skicrave
3G works fine with the new update, but then it worked fine with the old firmware too (other than the same issues that everyone complained about).
grgcombs
Pandora works via Edge (albeit occasionally choppy) on the F90BT and the first gen iPhones with 2.0 installed. (Video works fine, and always has for me) If I had a second gen iPhone with 3G, I would seriously consider using Pandora full-time and dropping Sirius. g
skicrave
If I had a second gen iPhone with 3G, I would seriously consider using Pandora full-time and dropping Sirius. That's my plan, I'll let you know how it goes.
Newbie
That's what I did and it works flawlessly (almost).....except for the fact it displays some random album art (generally the first song on the iPod part of the iPhone) instead of what plays on Pandora....I'm kinda OCD like that.. If I had a second gen iPhone with 3G, I would seriously consider using Pandora full-time and dropping Sirius. That's my plan, I'll let you know how it goes.
