esat Posted September 12, 2008 Report Share Posted September 12, 2008 Hello guys. I have a 07 for mustang and I am planning to buy a Avic D3? is it a good decision or should I choose another pioneer? offroaderf150 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Share Posted September 12, 2008 toss in a 1k resistor in between the d3 amp turn on wire and the turn on wires on the shaker plug. i had a d3 in my 07 stang with the shaker 500 and i connected it to the d3 sub output and it worked great! axxman Posted September 14, 2008 Report Share Posted September 14, 2008 To answer your question about the D3 being a good choice, I think depending on what you want, it may be. the D3 is discontinued but you can probably find it new for a good price now. I bought mine last november, paid 750 plus all the accessories. I think you can find it below 500 now with the ipod cable. If you are the type that wants the latest and greatest regardless of price, the F series may be worth looking at. it was introduced a few months ago. good luck Quote Link to post Share on other sites
