blu Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 the eu update for f500bt did not work with mine. i tried updating mine but once the update popped out, the first stage already gave me an error. FILE CHECKING ERROR. i leave it like that for about 5 mins and just stayed there. so for those curious, i guess the eu update is not applicable for the u.s version. fyi Quote Link to post Share on other sites

In the meantime I'm gonna poke around the the Eu update to see if there is a way to hack compatability. Doesn't look like it has a bluetooth update which is a bummer. blu Posted November 18, 2008 Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 i tried it due to frustrations with my f500bt. i just lost the tts function for no reason. its just gone. i was hoping i can retrieve it from the eu update. maybe someone can back up their f500bt software/firmware so i can make copy of the tts function again. i already emailed pioneer and they wanted my unit back for repair. i just dont wanna send it out since i dont know the turn over when i can get it back.
