marmski
I saw the other thread which detailed that the Vehicle Dynamics obviously isnt available, however since this unit runs Windows CE surely we can get an OBD II setup with some third party software? My thought process is along the lines of using the Launcher, an OBDII connector via the USB ( http://www.autologicco.com/pocketline/pocketobdpro.shtm Let me know your thoughts, it would be cool to be able to view OBDII info on this unit. FourG
Well, if we can ever get the Parrot Bluetooth stack to let us pair with non-phone devices, there's always the Bluetooth OBD-II dongles (example). BorisM
Besides, if using launcher, it should be possible to use a USB hub, as long as leet adds something to the launcher that lets you select which USB storage device has music you want...
Egz
Let me know your thoughts, it would be cool to be able to view OBDII info on this unit. Ant I'd love to do that. Right now, that USB cable is doing nothing.
thevilla
Hi, I'm currently looking into this. I'm driving a BMW E39 and bought an USB interface which reads ODB2 data. I was just wondering if somebody knows how the AVIC starts the Pioneer application. Is it a file that can be replaced so we can point to another EXE?
S4
Would it be possible to boot the system in to test mode and run the .exe that way?
thevilla
it must be possible to execute other programs since it is just windows CE. But I want to know how the system knows how it automatically needs to start the Pioneer application.
