axxman
I am going back to troubleshooting 101, make only one change at a time. I did test using his icons, but I made changes to the imgtbl.dat file. I am going to try leaving the imgtbl file alone and just swapping a few icons that I know work and see what shows up. the 70s 80s 40s and 50s, another 25 minutes and I will know. this whole experience is making me want to buy an F series. Well, that didnt work, but now at least the satilite default icon shows up, I think there must be something about me editing the file that messes it up so I will avoid touching it. now I am going to keep the same files but change to the dat file Orlando guy posted. that did the trick, now I have many more of the icons, they are the old ones but they work. now I think I can make a list of what is working, and then just swap the pim files, that should get most of them in order, then it will be down to adding entries in the imagtble.dat file. Mauro
well, I got the images and table burned (thanks to those who have posted the images and table) but when I went out to my truck to test them, I swear over half the stations had reverted back to thier old name!!!!! WTF??!?!!
Mauro
Well, on the way to work today, most of the logos showed up using the IMAGETBL.DAT and PIM's that were posted yesterday....I guess XM had a little trouble with the station ID's last night....saw it on a couple other XM Radio forums

Mauro
Ok, here's the IMAGETBL.DAT I have so far....I took the one WwRGSwW posted yesterday and did some more editing and got some more channel logos showing, but still having trouble IMAGETBL.DAT
Mauro
Here's the XMDPS Folder I have.....it is identical to the one bggull posted yesterday with the addition of 54, 116, 152, 155 and 158, which I added. Although 155 and 158 don't work 54, 116 and 152 do work If we can get all the channel logos to work, I'll be happy to make the XMLPS images for the list view XMDPS.zip

tnova
Maybe this is why it stops at at "The Blend": Search for hex value 09 19 - you'll see its found twice in your file. I think the system is expecting to see a unique value at the offset the value 19 is located, this is the "internal broadcast id" or something I read on another forum. If you look at the old IMAGETBL for the Blend it starts off as: 00 9B 09 19 If you look for the same hex values in your new one that is what starts off the xL SIRIUSXMStars channel. So I would advise changing that hex value at 00000C08 to start off as: 00 9B 09 9B Just a hunch, I haven't been able to try it out.
Mauro
Ok, I had my wife's Tahoe yesterday and I haven't upgraded her D3 to the 2008 maps yet, so her 2007 disc was in and about half the logos that don't work that I listed above, work even with the new channel assignments and names. So what I did was take the lines from the 2007 IMAGETBL.DAT for the channels that work, and copy and pasted them into the newer IMAGETBL.DAT that I attached earlier. However, it was late and I wasn't able to test the disc last night and this morning on the way to work, I got a disc error, so I'll have to re-burn it tonight when I get home from work. Also I think some Sirius/XM employees are reading this thread and messing with us with the channel names...."Mix cm" is now "Mix-22 cm", "Sirius XM Love" is now "Love" and "SIRIUS XM Pops" is now "Pops". Causing those logos not to show up I sure wish they would pick a name and leave it!!!!
axxman
I ordered Photoshop elements, so if someone ever gets an imagetble file that works, I can work on all the logos if necessary. I have always needed to spend some time with a hex editor, I have been busy this week though, and tonight the steelers are playing so I will be watching that. hopefully on the weekend I should be able to look at it. axxman
Update, I ripped my working disc that showed the old logos and swapped out only 4-10, 18 26, 12, 16 17 they all worked, not in list view though, I guess they are in a different folder. I have 1 DL left, I am going to see if I can swap the rest of the logos and burn it to see what shows up. swapped out 30, 35, 33, 42, 43, 44,45,46,47, 48, 49,51, 52, 53,55,56,57,58,59,60, 62,66,67,68, 72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,84,85,86,89,90,91,93,98,95,96,97,98,99 keep forgetting to copy over 2. update, poweriso froze while burning my last dl dvd. I have to go out and buy more.
envoy123
... not in list view though, I guess they are in a different folder. The list view icons are in the XMLPS folder. Thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this. Many here are (or will be) gratefull.
