aharper
I went to the below link last week and the price was $269, it's now $349. :( I'm ready to buy but want to find the best price. Where is the cheapest place to get the F700BT? http://www.ontimedigital.com/products.a ... Ggodn0iemg Thx. Andy
Frum Roll
ontimedigital is a scam, amazon.com is about the cheapest you'll find it. Usually via 6ave, or discountjungle.
aharper
A scam? Funny that I couldn't find it near that price anywhere else and was thinking "if it's too good to be true." Any problem buying them from ebay? Looks like they are under $400 out there.
kauffman21
like frum roll said, go to amazon find the 700bt and look under the sellers and find 6ave they are an authorized pioneer seller. warranty included. if you buy from unauthorized dealers you get no warranty, not even the pioneer factory warranty. tprokop7
Just to throw it out there for Discount Jungle: I ordered the GEX-p10HD from them through Amazon. They had it listed in the "new" category. I got an open-box unit with no power cable.

I could not see them selling it for the price that they do and still be an authorized dealer. can anyone verify? I just bought my f700bt from onlinecarstereo.com for $410 and had I seen 6ave before I bought it i would have gotten the f90bt for $565 (that was the price at one point). but I guess thats just my luck. maybe if i can sell my f700 then I will buy the f90 sometime. mnrivera210
I went to live.com and with cashback I received my unit for $328. Don't remember the seller but the shipping was very fast (3 days).

I bought my 700 from 6ave, via amazon for $365 (end of Feb), along with XM 920 tuner ($85). The (2) pieces shipped together in (1) "Pioneer 700" box...I figured the 700 would be in there, but not packaged together with the 920...like it was a factory package deal. I placed the order late Tuesday night, received no type of traking info from 6ave, received payment applied notification on Thursday, and UPS "attempted" delivery on Friday. I shouldn't have been playin' BF2 and I would have heard them at the door. Unit shipped with 2.0 firmware, and blue sticker, all sealed.

According to this http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/FindStore/Buy+Pioneer+Products+on+the+Internet, 6AVE is an authorized dealer. I think it's safe to buy from them. I got a F700BT from them 3 weeks ago for $395. Fast shipping. I got the unit with the updated firmware (2.0).

Damn, I swear that I looked at that but I must have only looked at the ones that say car audio. I hate when you make a decision and think you got a steal of a deal and then you find that you would have been better off looking a little harder. I would have bumped up to the f90bt and had a DVD and 4 volt pre-outs and a warranty through pioneer maybe I will sell my 700 locally and get the 90. Thanks for the info. lostissues
I think the 6ave linked from pioneers site is not the same as 6ave via amazon. here is the f90 on 6ave linked from pioneers site: http://www.6ave.com/shop/Product.aspx?sku=PIOAVICF90BT total cost is $998 The 6ave through amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B001BJ6JQS/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ALAQLAKJ574UN&v=glance total cost is $571.

N&v=glance total cost is $571.44 I realized the same thing with the F700bt too. But the package came with the receipt from 6AVE without indicating anything about the product being bought through Amazon. I think as long as the receipt shows the unit being bought from 6AVE, Pioneer should honor the warranty.
lostissues
I just find it strange that on their main site the price is +400 dollars more the their site via amazon if it is even their site. I guess I just don't understand where the discount is coming from.
Andy2804
over a 6 yr period i have bought maybe 5 items from 6ave through amazon.com. The last purchase was the pioneer F500BT, that was 6 weeks ago. I paid 199 USA dollars and it arrived at my best friends home in Ohio Usa in 3 days.Everything was as the site described, Brand new and boxed and in superb condition. Superb site and can only speak for myself but i have given them 5 stars on everything i have ever bought from them.
Alphaman
I just got mine from Abe's of Maine (located in NJ -- go figger...) While Amazon's price has been increasing (from about $340 a couple months ago to $410 now), Abe's had it for $400, and I used the "FRIEND10" discount code during checkout for $10 off, making it $390. Free shipping, too. Sadly, Abe's price has now gone up, too, so even with the discount code, it's only $0.95 cheaper than Amazon.
