Start you AVIC normally and verify you have the V2 Firmware installed. Check Pioneer website for info and download of the V2.0 Firmware and how to check you have it installed http://Https://www.pioneer.com.au/avicf900btDownload.aspx 2. Check your map version. Go into Settings / Navi Settings / About / Maps Your Maps will display Sensis R14 or similar 3. Extract this update to the root of an empty SD card. Do not modify the directory structure 4. Insert the SD card and Start the AVIC 5. Use Test mode to backup your unit. A Directory called "Backup" has been created on the SD card for your backup. Copy your "Flash Disk" to this directory Read the AVIC411 Faq's If you are unsure on Test Mode http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=19170 6. Rename or Delete the Following Directories on "My Flash Disk". I recommend you rename the directories but it's up to you. Rename My Flash Disk\Update\APL2\iGo\CONTENT to My Flash Disk\Update\APL2\iGo\CONTENT.bak Rename My Flash Disk\Update\APL2\iGo\LICENSE to My Flash Disk\Update\APL2\iGo\LICENSE.bak 7. If you don't want the key beep mod skip this step. Go into My Flash Disk\DATA\Sound and delete the files PSG1Hi.wav, PSG1Low.wav, PSG2Hi.wav and PSG2Low.wav. Don't worry renamed copies of these files are contained in this update. These are called 1PSG1Hi.wav, 1PSG1Low.wav, 1PSG2Hi.wav and 1PSG2Low.wav To reverse this mod later just rename the files back to normal. 8. Copy The directories below SD Card\Update to "My Flash Disk". When asked say yes to overwriting files. Copies of the overwritten Files are contained in this release. The Main Files overwritten are DATA.ZIP EZRIDER.EXE and SYS.TXT copies of the original files will be copied to you flash drive as DATA.BAK, EZRIDER.BAK and STS.BAK These are the files from The V2.0 Firmware update 9. Restart Your AVIC 10. lacehim
Just got a reply from Aussie Pioneer regarding the map update in August 2009. "The 2009 update due to be released in August will be Sensis version 15.1" All the above by 34by151 works great on my F900BT. Thanks for all your hard work 34by151. 34by151
Thanks Guys, I have tested the phoneme update and that will be in my next release. I have also tested the Auto/Manual tune for the TMC and am completeing the screen changes. I'm hoping to release both this weekend. Update will have Phoneme File added to the 15.1Maps to give proper voice prompts on some roads GTIMatt's latest Data.zip New TMC options added to above for Auto / Manual Tune New TMC icons for different event types Options to exclude event type from route recalc Options to include TMC text with icon on map When Manual tune is selected up /down tune buttons apper on the TMC Contol center for Tuning. On boot tuner will find the first valid TMC signal an lock on. You can then manually tune from that point. I have not worked out how to start on the last saved TMC station as yet but will keep working on that. Cheers 34by151

YellowLemon
How does SUNA TMS work? Do you have to register for it somewhere? What station carries the correct RDS/TMC data?
34by151
Aussie units are pre registered for SUNA however the maps don't support it. I dont' know if the V1.0 units are registered or not my unit was shipped with V2.0. If you add my update SUNA will start working. You will see both traffic data in the control center and icons on the map. For those of you that have PM'd and emailed me about the update I'm still working on the screen changes. I hope to get that out to everyone before the end of the long weekend For details on SUNA and the stations see the SUNA website using the link I posted Cheers 34by151
lolek74
My unit had 2.0 out of the box and I could see some traffic information (on the separate screen but not on the map). unfortunately I managed to delete everything (by mistake) and didnt have a chance to explore it further. 34by151
In the traffic events screen press one of the events and it will take you to the event on the map.

YellowLemon
Thanks mate! Legend!! I don't have an AVIC F series yet but I want to get one...... could someone order a 900BT or 90BT from the US for a lot cheaper and put these maps on? If yes, how would one then register a US unit for SUNA? Ta! PS SUNA is now being broadcast over 101.1FM in Melbourne and 97.3FM in Brisbane and on 106.5FM in Sydney. YellowLemon
Thanks heaps for this, 34by151 !!! Would you please be able to start a CHANGELOG or readme.txt so that user who would like to use other data.zip mods in the future know what the differences are? (say for example someone wanted to use a data.zip from another modder than GTIMatt...) Thanks!
