ashil
The Browse button greyed out at all times. Everything else is working Properly. Is there a cure for this
sportsfan21
First off, which unit do you have? Regardless of which AVIC you have, it can be bypassed. Go to the respective forum for the unit and look under 'Hacks/Mods' There will be instructions on how to bypass the unit.
ashil
I have an Avic d2, all the other buttons are working except for the Browse button and my fav. button,
sportsfan21
Are you able to change your route while driving? If you aren't, then you need to bypass your unit. Go here, follow the instructions in the picture. That should solve the problem. If the unit is already bypassed, then I'm not sure why only the Browse button isn't working. Do you have the correct nav disc in?
PaisanNYC
Actually sf21, as I posted here: http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... 5134#15134 it's not limited to the Pioneer head units. I have the XM Inno walkman, and the sports ticker does not work on that either. Something is wrong on XM's end, even though the OP said XM told him to call Pioneer! sportsfan21
Wow I didn't even realize that ashil was talking about buttons for the NavTraffic service.
PaisanNYC
It's ok sf21, he wasn't too clear with just saying "Browse" button. I knew what he meant cause I am frustrated about this too!

mdr05
So, Im new here. Its pretty certain that this isnt a bypass issue? My system is bypassed and it was functioning fine until a few weeks ago. Neither Pioneer nor XM is any help resolving this. I really really enjoyed this feature and miss it a lot..... whtcrxghst
Its definitely not a bypass issue. Wish XMs tech support was at least a little helpful or hinted that they might look into the problem. Don't see how it could be a hardware problem w/ Pioneer since it used to work for us and still does work for some people.
So, Im new here. ashil
XM and Pioneer tech help is worthless, all they do is point fingers at each other "call xm" "call pioneer" is all i got out them. mybe one day they will get a clue what cutomer service is and answer a question. i plan on calling XM everyday. jimmy303
Are you sure you are subscribed to NavTraffic, not just standard XM, and the data cable is plugged into the GEX-P10XMT and the head unit? My Z1 NavTraffic works like a champ.
whtcrxghst
My navtraffic works great too, so does the stock page, but its the sports that don't work. The Browse and Favorites buttons are greyed out
PaisanNYC
Same here, I have NavTraffic activated, and stock quotes work fine. Sport scores have stopped, Browse and Favorites buttons greyed out as well. As I said, my XM walkman, the Inno, no longer scrolls sports scores either on the built in ticker, only stock quotes, so it definitely is something on XM's end.
