Do you get a name with the phone number when using the bluetooth feature? Or do you just get the phone number on the screen?

If the number, as sent by phone's Bluetooth, matches exactly to the number of an entry downloaded from the phone to AVIC's phonebook, you get the name. Otherwise, only number.

i have the same issue on mine i was wondering the same, i have my phonebook completely the same nothing changed but only on some contacts will it show there name when calling, others just a number

i think you need the full # like 1-555-123-1234 but no dashes or spaces but not sure

it does the same on my iphone, I just havent got around to changing all the #'s

Have you synced your phonebook onto the AVIC?

I have and all of the numbers are there and when I make an outgoing call, its fine but when I receive calls, I get just the number and no name, it appears (555 555 5555) calling
