Thanks for all your help guys.[/quote] Yeah bro, I checked out my STi just a few minutes ago and the fronts are a little bit louder than the rears. shoman94 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Share Posted November 30, 2006 Every car will sound louder in the front... you are only 1 foot away from teh front speakers but 3 to 4 feet away from the rears..... Rear is mainly used for the rear passengers... sitting in the front seat you should barely hear the rear when you set it up correctly. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

hottwhyrd Posted June 23, 2007 Report Share Posted June 23, 2007 k if u got 4 speakers up front but only 2 in rear then ur gonna get louder up front. 2 speakers at 4 ohms are 2 ohms so ur deck is runnin the fronts twice as hard as the rears. i wouldnt worry about it since rear speakers arent that important (as long as u have nice fronts!) kruff10 Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 I WAS HAVING WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY BACK SPEAKERS, THE SOUND SEAMED REALLY LOW COMPARED WITH THE FRONT SPEAKERS SO I WENT INTO THE SOUND FIELD OPTIONS AND CHANGED IT FROM SOUND STUDIO TO NORMAL AND NOW MY REAR AND FRONT SPEAKERS ARE THE SAME VOLUME. THAT SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE VOLUME PROBLEM BETWEEN UR FRONT AND REAR SPEAKERS. IT WORKED FOR ME Quote Link to post Share on other sites
