akke
How do I do that? And is there any license files that contains my units serialnr?
bitman
if you are afraid about your license file you can just leave it out once you copied it all on your computer. lots of guys here are willing to help you how to copy the whole contents from the internal flash disc or your deck to your computer. what you can do is use a 4gb SD card with the Testmode V2.3 on it and and then just copy the whole content from the internal flash disk to the 4gb SD card. it's about 2gb so it will fit. you can find the testmode on this forum or on my web site. any questions just ask. bt
HAAK31
if you are afraid about your license file you can just leave it out once you copied it all on your computer. Without the licensefile it won't work, so then it's of no use to do it!

quappo
Hi, Bought my F900BT in june 2008, and got the update for free The shop where I bought the deck, gave me call.. Sir, you were complaining about the AVIC F900BT?? You have to come over.. Pioneer released a new version.. The F910BT. Same hardware, other firmware. We got the upgrade SD-cards from Pioneer, so we can solve all the issues with the problem cases! So I went to the store and got the upgrade/update totally for free. SD Card 1 was for updating the firmware SD Card 2 was for updating the maps And yes, it was in the Netherlands! Now I have the 910 version running and I have to say: what a major difference Screen is responding a lot better, little irritations are solved (white text on light background got a blue background, callerscreen in front of navi-dashboard moved to the right in a small box, navi 3d buttons are extended with a close button, added 2d navi with driving direction on top, etc etc), even the steeringwheel control has now the funtionality to switch between the radio stations which are stored in memory. Oh, and the audioquality of mp3@SD improved a lot. Now it's fun to use the sd for music! The navigation is also a lot better. They have added roadsigns! very easy now to recognize the correct direction. Try to contact your local store... I'm very happy with the avic now! I didn't have the possibility to copy the upgrade cards, sorry. Regards, Quappo

Regards, Quappo It is possible to make a copy on a 2 GB SD card from the firmware in the unit like the US guys did Look here http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25703#p174815 and here http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25487&start=150#p175108 Het is mogelijk om via een 2 GB SD kaartje een kopie van de firmware te maken die in de Avic zit hoor. Onze vrienden uit de US hebben dat ook zo gedaan. Zie links hierboven
bitman
i just used a SD card with the Testmode and a USB stick for the image / file transfer. At the moment we only need the APL2 directory as far i can guess.

But a full backup would be also nice cause it makes it easier for the people who still have a 2.x A compare against a full US backup would be also nice to do.
