skilachi
All, I have manage to locate the caution message that pops up when you start the HD1BT, HD3 and also Z series. It is located on the second partition. TFAT -> PRG0 -> APL -> LANGDATA, in this folder there are various files and the one you are looking for is EW060DAT.GBR. Open it with Notepad and within the file you've got various texts wriiten inside. Do a Find search (Ctrl +F) and type caution....this is the result below CAUTION: This Navi product is intended solely as a driving aid. Review instruction manual and select route before driving. Navi is not a substitute for your attentiveness, judgment, and care while driving or moving your vehicle. Always observe safe driving rules and driving laws, and follow road signs even if they contradict Navi's instructions. By pressing OK key, you accept the license agreement in the instruction manual. CaptainInsaneO
Great find!!! Have you tried opening the file in a hex editor yet for editing?? (I would do it myself but I'm still deployed and don't have any of my tools available.)
kraven
Now if we could only get rid of the message ! All you have here is the translated message inside the language file. Really the program file calling the message string needs to be hacked and the message not called. I don't think this message file is going to help you.
galzamar
Is the test editable so you can have that window say anything you want to?
garrettoomey
Not this file... So far, no one has found a way to change or get rid of it.
