Third Party IPOD interface for Z1

Recommended Posts

I've used similar adaptors with my last Pioneer HU. My assumption is that the Z1 will recognize this interface as an AUX input and not an iPod. That means that you'll be navigating your iPod from the iPod itself (which isn't such a bad thing considering the less than perfect embedded interface).

An improved iPod interface on the Z1 is the only real improvement I could wish for personally. I'm not aware of any plans to improve upon it though.

The D3 will have a full speed cable that also transfers video. Hopefully when they redesign the Z series, they will include that feature
