scarrz
I have an F90BT and its been upgraded to version 3.0 (legitimate purchase) and I have noticed that when I place a call or receive a call when the call starts via bluetooth that the Pioneer Safety disclaimer [OK] button comes up (in the background) but you are not able to select the button because the active calling box shows up on the screen, not allowing you to hit the button. I don't recall this ever happening with the pre 3.0 version. I remember that when you placed a call the unit would switch directly to the MAP view not requiring you to hit the (safety disclaimer) OK button. This is very annoying because if I place a call or receive a call I have to ride around with a black screen with a disclaimer and an OK button and am not able to do anything about it. Anybody else experience this? Hopefully I made it clear as to what I'm talking about. any advice?? Thanks.

scarrz
I'm sure i'm not explaining this well. Example: I get in the car, radio comes on to XM screen, bluetooth connects, I'm cruising along and decide to make a call, I dial the number on my phone and the popup calling screen comes up on the pioneer. At the same time the OK safety disclaimer button comes up but its set in the background and I'm unable to hit the OK button. Now I'm stuck driving around with a safety disclaimer screen. I have yet been quick enough to hit the ok button before the calling screen comes up on the unit. I realize if I have used the map feature prior to a call then I do not have to worry about it. I dont recall the previous software version ever doing this, it would go directly to map if you had not been in map mode prior. Make sense? Thanks.

scarrz
Thanks, but that doesn't always happen. Just thought I might be missing something or if the software was quirky. I'm about positive the previous software did not do this b/c I tend to only use the gps map on trips, etc and mainly keep it on the xm or radio screen.
Egz
I know what you mean. Pretty sure 2.0 showed the map, but after you hung up, and tried to access anything, then you got the warning.
Segler1963
The best solution would be to get rid of the caller ID Pop up, so the unit remains operational during the call. Anybody got an Idea? Jörg

Nerds 2 You
When you first start the unit up, go to the maps screen, the safety disclaimer will be displayed, press "OK" to clear it then switch back to the audio source you were listening to, when the phone rings you shouldn't see the disclaimer anymore. Hopefully this will be cleared up for you in a future update.
scarrz
I don't mean to come across as a smart A#@# but I realize everyone's suggestion that if you go to Maps first and click ok then you will not have this problem. My point is just like this morning I get into the car and within minutes the wife calls my phone, the caller id box pops up on the screen and immediately the safety disclaimer with the OK button pops up right BEHIND the caller id box and there is no way of hitting OK. Its just really annoying to have a blacked out screen when your having a phone conversation because you forgot to go and hit MAPS first. This was pretty stupid on Pioneers part, especially since pre 3.0 version bypassed the safety disclaimer. It may have come up after the call finished but thats acceptable. Is there an email or website where you can post bugs like this? Thanks for everyone's input. I do applaud Pioneer for making 3.0 much snappier when you press buttons. The last version drove me nuts with the delay.
CoastGuardZ
I have had similar issues with 2.x... intermittent though.
