  1. Crisis averted! Not sure what I did other than multiple reboots... It eventualy came up and said that there was no BT software installed and allowed me to load from the CNSD-200 card. All is well.
  2. Please HELP! While performing the CNSD-200 upgrade/update I managed to brick the Bluetooth portion of my F90BT. The update went well and the touch screen performance is noticeable improved. I then went to perform the Bluetooth update, but when it started the unit started playing the sounds off the CNSD-200 card and displayed a message something like "non audio track are skipped". So for about 15-20 minutes that message and the "updating bluetooth" message were displayed while 4 or 5 1 second audio dings and dongs played in repeat. Finally I figure that it was stuck and reboot would
  3. Cannot get the download links to work (404)... am I retarded or are they no longer available?
  4. I have had similar issues with 2.x... intermittent though.
  5. Don't know what year you have but mine is an '07... routed the wire through dash, up the inside of the left A pillar, across the inside of the headliner and clipped it to the headliner above the rearview mirror. Calls are crystal clear and most people can't even tell they're on speakerphone.
  6. A few points here... 1) The SEARCH function works... That's how I found this! 2) This procedure works... ( 07 Frontier ) 3) If you power on the vehicle at anytime without the Passenger airbag light connected you will get the flashing light.
  7. Wow... good to know! I won't complain about three bucks but I will definetly keep an eye out in case dips to like $590 or less. Thanks for the info!
  8. Please excuse me if this question sounds retarded... I do not have my AVIC yet but, can you still use the navigation while listening to the Zune in this manner? Interested in this idea because I'm trying to maintain my irrational anti-iPod stance
  9. I'm interested in this and will be awaiting a sollution. I was just about to purchase and ipod solely for harddisk type usage since the AVIC has the iPod interface. If you can get the AVIC to work with the Zune as well as it works with the iPod... I'm in!
  10. Personally I love Garmin. They make great units. As far as which brand brings you "right to the driveway"... this is a product of the mapping software so it's not a Garmin vs Tom Tom vs. Pioneer... it's actually Teleatlas vs Navteq. At my last house people with the $99 no-name Christmas Special would be brought to our driveway while those with the $400+ Garmin were taken or three houses down on the otherside of the road just because of the map data supplied by one company for that area wasn't as precise as the other. My F90BT hasn't shown up yet but I played with the F900BT at the lo
  11. Thanks. I just may have to give it a shot... I've all but purchased an F90 and used 80gb iPod. If I have to I'll load iTunes on one of my PC's... it really sounds like the iPod will be the better route considering the radio was designed to play nice with it already... damn shame. HDD's can be larger and cheaper. I saw a 250gb Western Digital Passport at Best Buy for $99... would've been a better way to go if the Pioneer engineers had thought of a better interface. Sorry didn't mean to hijack this thread... I hope somebody gets a HDD to work efficiently with the AVIC...
  12. Well it is sounding like the iPod will be the way to go... to my dismay. When a HDD is attached, can the AVIC play playlists (M3U) from it? Can anyone more well versed answer the below? Nate
  13. First time poster... but Avic411 is an amazing source for info. I haven't purchased my F90 yet but plan to in the next couple days... a big part of my decision to go with the AVIC is the USB port. My intentions are to keep something in the vehicle with all 60plus GB of my MP3's on it. Has anyone gotten any further in their trial and errors from this thread? I like the idea of the 1.8" drive... a little pricey but not as much as an iPod classic. Does the AVIC have to scan the drive each time the vehicle is turned on? Can that be disabled? and if so will it recognise the drive e
