mbentley
what i ended up doing was i synched all of my phone book entries to the head unit and then i copied the address book file from the head unit and used the phone book editing software found in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=22601 from there, i just removed the entries i probably would never need and edited them to the correct format which i now believe is '15555555555' (translated from '1 (555) 555-5555' from my iphone). it really isn't a problem with people's phones, it is just that the head unit really ought to format the numbers correctly upon importing. i still haven't verified it yet on the head unit that it reports correctly now with the name as i haven't driven my car in a few days and forgot about testing it. smith1701
My Blackberry Tour also has this issue sometimes. Redo the contacts after a full boot of the phone.
