Source switching bands on its own.

It may be possible that the plastic overlay on the screen softened and got bent and is now giving the touchscreen a false positive.

I'm no expert but that's my informed guess.

i believe this is the problems. It seems to happen the most when the temperature in the car changes. I have to put the screen down like I am about to play a dvd for the cycling to stop.

You are the first that I have heard of this problem.

Same here.

I live in San Diego where it normally gets up to about 90-100 degrees during the summer and I don't have this problem on my unit. I'm actually honestly surprised you're not having hard drive problems too if the heat is bad enough to affect the screen.

I am too and that is the thing. I have had absolutely no problems with the map what so ever. I don't know what else it can be. Also beside the AV source switching it also mutes itself but that happens on rare occasions. I am to the point on sending it in to get it professionally looked at and fixed.
