The only way to keep it from switching is to drop down the screen like if I am about to insert a dvd. I checked all the wires and cannot find a short. Some advice will be appreciated. I'm no expert but that's my informed guess. i believe this is the problems. It seems to happen the most when the temperature in the car changes. I live in San Diego where it normally gets up to about 90-100 degrees during the summer and I don't have this problem on my unit. I have had absolutely no problems with the map what so ever. I don't know what else it can be. Also beside the AV source switching it also mutes itself but that happens on rare occasions.
