I am alsmot ready to buy this unit. Looks good so far. I have a question though. Does it have a dedicated subwoofer control? I also have a ncie system and want a good sound quality unit. I know there is an overall bass control obviously but can I adjust the subwoofer settings? Thanks.

There are several adjustments for the sub...lowpass freq, etc.

sup gain, i think you have to set on the amp. i assume thats what you are talking about. some amps can be controleld from certain stereos. i think kenwood hu can control kenwood amps. sorry if this is not what your thinking of

sorry I didnt mean gain. I mean the level of the sub pre-out. Like if I want to turn down just the sub without taking the bass out of the whole system...

i dont know if you can do that, but are u saying, u want the sub less powerful? then you can lower the gain. the pre-outs i dont know if you could change from 2V to lower. sorry. maybe someoen else will know how to help you.

Yes, it has three sets of preouts, one of them being non-fading for sub level control

Yes, you can control the level of the subwoofer preamp from -6 to +6. You can also adjust the low-pass frequency, set the gain of a specific frequency, and adjust the overall bass. One of the best subwoofer output controls i've ever seen in a hu.
