Z2 bypass iso file on cd Rom won't load

Recommended Posts

Hello! Im attempting the 2 wire bypass on my z2. I burned the iso file to a cd using cyberlink biting software. When I insert the cd in the drive it says cd rom inserted but nothing happens. I pushed map and it just went to the map screen. My hardware screen indicates my ebrake wire is grounded because it says "on". I copied the file back from my disc to the computer successfully so I assume the burn was ok. Am I doing something wrong. How do I get this z2bypass file to update my unit?? Thanks

In order to bypass my unit, I used a guide to change the pin outs on the harnesses, thus causing a permanent ground loop to avoid the e-brake hassle. I don't know of any cd image that would help, or why you would want one?

The CD image is for early model Z2's. The 2 wire did not work without a firmware upgrade. Just FYI...
